Dr Nikita Rolekar

Dr.Nikita Rolekar is a qualified Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeon with an extensive experience of more than 15 years. She is also a full member of the Indian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the apex body for qualified and trained cosmetic surgeons in India. She has been member of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI). She is also a member of Pan Asian Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive surgery.

She was born in Mumbai and did her schooling at prestigious school in Mumbai. She attended the D.G. Ruparel College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai for her pre-medical Junior College. She joined the K.J. Somaiya Medical College & research centre, Mumbai for her undergraduate training and completed her MBBS in 2007 with a distinction in Microbiology.

In 2016, She joined the super-speciality course for the M.Ch (Plastic Surgery) degree at the SMS Medical College and General Hospital, Jaipur completing the same in 2019 from the Rajasthan University and health sciences examination. She joined immediately H.B.T. Medical College and Dr. R. N. Cooper Municipal General Hospital, Mumbai in 2020. She continued to work there until 2021 after being joined as Assistant professor and consultant Plastic surgeon in Terna Medical College and Terna Multispeciality Hospital and research centre, Navi Mumbai in July 2021.

In 2018, She received the First prize in the Dr.Sam Bose and dr.Saroja Bose Award for young best paper presenter in research and /or audit category. Another first prize received in prof B.M. Daver poster presentation in same year 2018. Dr.Nikita had presented several research paper in international and national conferences and done national and international original research paper publication on various topic of plastic surgery field. She also wrote a Book chapter on ‘Reconstruction of facial defect with local facial flap’ in ISSUES AND DEVELOPMENTS IN MEDICINE AND MEDICAL RESEARCH Vol.9 Chapter 22.

Dr. Nikita Rolekar has started private practice in year 2019 after completion of plastic surgery course. Her main field of interest is in Facial Plastic Surgery, Rhinoplasty, Gynecomastia, Liposuction (Body countouring), Fat grafting, Burn, Hand Surgery, and Reconstructive Suregry related to congenital deformity, trauma and cancer.

Dr. Nikita Rolekar has started doing Aesthetic/cosmetic Surgery in 2020 along with a considerable amount of Reconstructive work. Like many fine microsurgeons all over the world, her clinical interests slowly metamorphosed, first towards providing more aesthetic results in Reconstructive Surgery and then since 2020, that interest drown toward Cosmetic Surgery. Her practice is now 60% Cosmetic Surgery and 40% Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Nikita now performs the entire spectrum of Cosmetic surgical procedures from ear-shaping, rhinoplasties, blepharoplasties and other facial cosmetic surgeries to body contouring and cosmetic breast surgery. She specializes in Rhinoplasty, body countouring procedures, breast augmentation and reduction, and facial plastic surgery.

She is visiting and admission privileges at many hospitals across the city of Mumbai as well as Navi Mumbai as Consultant plastic surgeon.
